Youth Ready technical brief

Youth Ready is World Vision’s signature Positive Youth Development (PYD) model that equips vulnerable youth (ages 15–24) with the skills, confidence, and support to thrive in work and life. Designed for both in- and out-of-school youth in fragile contexts, Youth Ready takes a holistic, multi-sectoral approach to build youth assets, foster agency, and promote community engagement. The two-stage program strengthens youth voice, vision, and resilience, then links them to education, livelihoods, and personal development opportunities — empowering them as agents of change in their communities.
