This report highlights how the ENVISION project, implemented by Wahana Visi Indonesia from 2020–2023, advanced gender equality, disability and social inclusion (GEDSI) in some of Indonesia’s most underserved communities. Working across 50 villages in East Nusa Tenggara, the initiative strengthened inclusive governance, expanded economic opportunities, and increased women’s participation in leadership and decision-making. The report showcases how local systems, access to information, and community engagement can shift deeply rooted norms — empowering women, youth, and marginalized groups to shape their futures. It also captures key lessons on sustaining impact, from building leadership skills and fostering male allies to scaling inclusive approaches beyond the life of the project.
