This publication highlights World Vision Bangladesh’s innovative male engagement approach under the Nobo Jatra (‘new beginning’) project — a seven-year USAID-funded food security and resilience initiative in southwest Bangladesh. Rooted in gender equality and social inclusion, the program engaged nearly 10,000 couples through structured, reflective sessions to transform gender dynamics within households—promoting shared caregiving, decision-making, and preventing gender-based violence. Through powerful stories and evidence collected in 2022, this resource illustrates the positive impact of male engagement on families and communities, offering a promising gender equality practice aligned with World Vision’s GESI (Gender Equality and Social Inclusion) framework.
