Join us for a three-part seminar series exploring how World Vision is advancing innovative, evidence-driven WASH programming around the world.
Across these sessions, we’ll examine scalable, market-based sanitation models; fully digital monitoring that enables data-informed decision-making; and integrated WASH and economic empowerment approaches that strengthen women’s agency and improve family outcomes.
You’ll hear directly from World Vision WASH experts, academic learning partners, and other sector-leading collaborators as they share research findings, practical lessons, and implications for the broader WASH community.
French and Spanish interpretation will be available for all sessions.

Scaling Sanitation Markets Without Reinventing the Slab
March 12 | 10:00–11:15 AM Eastern Time (UTC-4)
World Vision is rolling out a global market-based sanitation (MBS) and hygiene strategy. This seminar shares what we are learning about making MBS work at scale across diverse contexts. Learn from our in-depth pilots with iDE in Burundi, Mozambique, Zambia, and Ghana, plus the process for expanding MBS to additional countries in 2026. You will gain practical insights from an accelerator fund designed to increase the affordability of improved sanitation. Walk away with lessons you can apply in your own setting to implement effective market-based sanitation without starting from scratch.
Data as Our Common Language: Operationalizing Fully Digital Monitoring
March 26 | 10:00–11:15 AM Eastern Time (UTC-4)
World Vision is transforming how WASH teams work by using digital monitoring and visualization to make data a shared, practical language across countries and partners. This seminar spotlights early learnings from three countries, showing how cultural shifts around digital monitoring helped teams enhance how they work. You will hear directly from practitioners about what worked, what didn’t, and how real-time, shared data is strengthening day-to-day decision-making. You’ll gain concrete insights to support your transition from fragmented spreadsheets and narrative reports to more collaborative, reliable, data-informed WASH programming.
From Access to Agency: Data-Driven Lessons from Women-Centered WASH Programming
April 9 | 10:00–11:15 AM Eastern Time (UTC-4)
For the past three years, World Vision has implemented Beyond Access in Guatemala, Honduras, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, placing women and girls at the center of development through the integration of WASH and economic empowerment. Drawing on our collaborative learning approach with Emory University and local research partners, this seminar will share evidence of measurable gains in women’s access to water, income and savings, and participation in household and community decision-making. You will gain practical insights into how these results were achieved, including lessons for designing, adapting, and scaling women-centered WASH programming grounded in data and active learning. You will also leave with clear takeaways on why and how integrating WASH and economic empowerment strengthens outcomes for women, families, and communities.
