The Strengthen PSNP Institutions and Resilience (SPIR II) project brought together communities, government institutions, donors, researchers, and consortium partners to strengthen resilience and improve the lives of vulnerable households across Ethiopia.

Over five years (2021–2026), SPIR II delivered integrated approaches across food security, nutrition, WASH, livelihoods, mental health, and natural resource management in Amhara, Oromia, and Tigray. Through evidence-driven programming and strong partnerships, the project strengthened local systems, expanded opportunities, and helped communities better prepare for and recover from shocks.

This report highlights SPIR II’s achievements, evidence, and lessons learned, showcasing how locally led solutions and collective action can build a more resilient future for children and families across Ethiopia.
