In 2023, World Vision marked the conclusion of its global campaign It takes a world to end violence against children, which launched in 2017 to spark a global movement for a future free from violence. Over seven years, the campaign impacted 376 million children through the collective efforts of advocates, donors, partners, and faith communities. World Vision emerged as a global thought leader, contributing to key coalitions such as Joining Forces and the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action, while supporting movements like the Brave Movement and the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children. Our advocacy also helped increase national reporting on violence-related SDGs by 25%. Though the campaign has formally ended, the work to protect children continues as a core part of World Vision’s mission.
