World Vision’s Do No Harm for Faith Groups (DNH4FG) equips religious leaders to recognize how their well-intentioned actions may unintentionally contribute to division or harm in fragile settings. Grounded in the widely used Do No Harm/Local Capacities for Peace framework, the workshop integrates sacred texts with practical tools, guiding leaders to apply conflict-sensitive principles in their ministry and community outreach.

Case studies from Kenya and El Salvador illustrate how DNH4FG improves leaders’ awareness, behavior, and collaboration — laying the foundation for inter- and intrafaith cooperation, peacebuilding, and child protection. Research shows that DNH4FG can be a transformative tool in equipping faith leaders to reduce harm, promote social cohesion, and enhance the wellbeing of children and youth.
