World Vision recognizes that collaboration is essential for effective resilience approaches — and, ultimately, for community and child well-being. The Road to Resilience webinar showcased the innovative work of World Vision, alongside our donor and research partners, to strengthen resilience worldwide.
At the event, World Vision introduced an evidence-based, systems-focused, multi-sectoral resilience framework — developed to serve as a powerful tool for the global development community. This framework, detailed in our Resilience White Paper, draws on years of collaboration with host communities, governments, researchers, and implementing partners.
The White Paper offers a fresh perspective on how resilience is defined and achieved. Its principles highlight the importance of systems thinking, the role of faith identity in fostering social cohesion, and the critical need for gender equality, disability and social inclusion.
The Resilience White Paper and Framework were part of five new publications being released during the July 11 Road to Resilience webinar, which also featured Stories of Resilience from World Vision’s global programs.
