Challenging harmful behaviors using religious text

World Vision’s Channels of Hope for Child Protection (CoH CP) is a faith-based intervention designed to reduce violence against children by equipping religious leaders with knowledge and tools to promote child well-being within their communities. By engaging faith leaders in a transformative process grounded in religious texts, CoH CP fosters shifts in attitudes, behaviors, and social norms related to child protection. A multi-country, longitudinal study of the program shows that this sustained, community-driven approach leads to more supportive and protective environments for children across diverse contexts.
