Join us for the launch of World Vision’s new Disability-Inclusive WASH Guide

Developed to strengthen the quality and impact of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) programming worldwide, our new Disability-Inclusive WASH Guide offers practical resources and approaches to help organizations prioritize the meaningful inclusion of persons with disabilities. It emphasizes that disability-inclusive WASH requires a comprehensive approach, accounting for the full diversity of disabilities and applying defined standards to ensure meaningful inclusion, quality implementation, and sustainable programming. These principles are foundational to World Vision’s WASH business plan, and guides such as this play a critical role in turning those commitments into action.

This interactive session will walk participants through the guide’s key components, featuring real-world examples from Iraq, Malawi, and Vanuatu that show what inclusive WASH looks like in practice. You’ll engage with technical experts through a live Q&A and quiz, explore tools and lessons from the field, and gain insights you can apply to your own programming. Spanish and French translation options will be available to ensure broader accessibility.

World Vision is committed to reaching the most vulnerable and ensuring the meaningful inclusion of persons with disabilities across all aspects of our work. While the guide is designed for World Vision field teams, it offers valuable insights for partners, peers, and donors seeking to advance inclusive and transformative WASH programming in their own contexts.
